Hydroscand offers many types of quick release fittings, for example environmentally friendly and drip-free fittings, couplings to be connected during pressure, acid resistant fittings for aggressive materials and other fittings with a working pressure up to /PN 100 MPa, bore/NW 3–50 mm, ISO standard and HTMA norms.

Hydroscand has a wide range of quick release couplings, both for hydraulics and pneumatics, from some of the biggest names on the market, like TEMA, CEJN, FASTER, HANSEN and BRUNING. Our assortment offers, among others, couplings with or without valves, flush face, thread-to-connect, with pressure eliminator, as well as couplings for very high pressure up to 2000 bar! We even have a complete programme of standardized quick couplings in conformity with the ISO norms.

Material
Hydroscand's quick release fittings can be delivered in most designs, normally E-coated, which is the name of our coupling surface treatment. The surface treatment is free from Cr6, and is therefore better for both theenvironment and personal health. Alternative materials are stainless and acid resistant steel with sealings in Nitrile, Viton, EPDM and Teflon.

Connections
Withworth pipe threads (G) are used throughout, but other types of threads are available on request, for example conical pipe threads (R), NPTF, UNF, UNC or metric threads. The air assortment also include conical pipe threads (R), hose fittings as well as hose sockets.

Standards and certificates
Hydroscand can deliver most fittings according to international standards and with certificates from Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd, DVWG and other approvals.

Working pressure / PN
The working pressure/PN is indicated next to each fitting with a safety factor of 4 for rupture. The working pressure refers to connected fitting. Please note that the pressure surges/transients can lead to major mechanical stress in the system.
For pressure drop index, see the document 'Technical info'.
